This piece is taking the everyday colours and emotions one feels and using these to paint a picture of a woman’s life. The story develops from girlhood to old age using different colours to frame her emotions and life.
The guitar accompaniment gives off a Nick Drake like sound to the lament and the soft tender vocal over the top adds to the raw emotions being conveyed within the song.
